Website Maintenance

Website care for businesses that do not want surprises. Daily backups, updates, security checks, and human oversight via ManagedWP - so routine work gets done and real problems get a person, not only an automated email.

How I work with you

You depend on the site but do not have time to babysit plugins. I keep the boring essentials handled and talk to you when something needs a decision. Experience helps here too: knowing which updates are risky, when to use staging, and when a "small" warning is actually urgent.

Who it's for

Business owners and teams who rely on WordPress and want peace of mind - without hiring a full-time developer for day-to-day care.

Problems I solve

  • Updates and backups that keep getting postponed
  • No plan for when the site goes down
  • Security issues discovered too late
  • No one keeping an eye on forms, SSL, or uptime
  • Fear of clicking "update" on a live shop
  • Agencies that vanish after the project invoice

What you get

  • Daily backups
  • Plugin and theme updates handled with care
  • Security checks and firewall protection
  • Uptime monitoring with human oversight
  • Clear escalation when project work is needed

Maintenance is about sleep, not dashboards

If you are reading this, you probably want fewer "is the site okay?" moments. Maintenance is the quiet system underneath: backups, updates, monitoring, and someone who notices when something looks wrong.

Plans and signup live on the maintenance page. For deeper WordPress work beyond care plans, see WordPress & WooCommerce. If you already suspect a compromise, go to security & cleanup.

Human oversight beats alert fatigue

Automated emails are easy to ignore. I treat uptime and security signals as work: check, decide, fix or escalate. That is the difference between "we have monitoring" and "someone is actually watching."

How I work

  1. 1

    Onboard and baseline

Backups, security scan, update status, and uptime monitoring - so we know the starting point before touching anything.

  2. 2

    Update with care

Plugin and theme updates on a schedule, with staging checks when a site is business-critical.

  3. 3

    Watch and respond

Uptime alerts, security events, and broken forms get human attention - not just an automated email you ignore.

  4. 4

    Report and advise

You hear from me when something needs a decision. Small fixes are included; bigger projects are quoted separately.

Common questions

What is included versus project work?

Maintenance covers updates, backups, monitoring, and minor fixes. New features, redesigns, and major troubleshooting are quoted as separate projects.

Do you maintain non-WordPress sites?

The maintenance plans are built for WordPress. Static or hybrid sites I built can be covered - ask me and we will match the right plan.

What if an update breaks something?

Backups are daily. If an update causes trouble, we roll back and fix properly - that is the point of maintenance.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Monthly plans are flexible. I would rather you stay because the service is useful, not because of a contract trap.

Will you explain issues in plain language?

Yes. When something needs your decision, you get a clear recommendation - not a raw server log dump.
